Thanks Kiran for bringing us another one that could allow us to reflect on some vital points while we are alive even if we was not amongst the speakers at the World Congress of Quantum Medicine.

I try to express the inexpressible and define what my perception of what Consciousness is. Fun and challenging task!

To me Consciousness is the very essence of the Universe, manifested and non-manifested, the Totality, the Oneness that includes everything that exist and do not exist, that has existed and that will exist, in a word, God, fully aware, fully awake, fully conscious, omnipresent and omniscient, the primordial frequency that contain all frequencies and the Primordial Information that contain all information, the Whole, the AUM, the Tao, the Generator, Organizer and Destructor.

Kiran : that is just a definition that you cannot verify in your life

If the all Creation is made of Consciousness, this consciousness expresses itself in infinite ways, forms and expansion. The consciousness of an ant that work at perpetuating its specific role in our earth differs from the consciousness of the Himalayas mountain charging itself with a warm summer midday sun, regulating the temperature from which billions of other creatures depend, and differs from the tree, working at its so many tasks, but all these expressions of Consciousness work as a whole, for the Whole.

Considering the different expression of the Creation, Elemental (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether), Mineral, Vegetal, Animal and Human, the animal and human species seems to have the greater spectrum of consciousness and at a same time, have the need for sleep, unconsciousness.

Kiran : So you want to say – just by the fact you wake up in the morning you become conscious ?

Moving creatures, seems have more difficulty coping with the consciousness of the Whole, due to their sophistication while I have no issue imagining the Himalayas (for example) fully aware of what they are, perfectly in tune (resonating) with every other minerals in the entire Universe.

Kiran : This would mean the Himalayas are more conscious then most people ?

From all moving creatures, the human seems to be the one with the less conditioning, the most free and able to create, invent and adapt. The one able to experiment the watchfulness and awareness of the animal needed for his survival, and feel the love, play and sense of humour that he also shares with some of the other animals.

He is also the one that can dissolve his consciousness into the Whole and become the Whole. Those achieving this state of consciousness become spiritual teachers and guide others to reach this state. They teach what has been revealed to them during their initiatic journey. Those who resonate with their teaching will follow it, tune with it, and reach together this consciousness. This is where consciousness adds up.

Kiran : Did you verify this in anyway – or just read it somewhere ? I gave you a definition of Consciousness that you can verify in every moment and it is also the THING that everyone wants most of all

TO BE CONTENT – NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES

I for my part don’t want just to “dissolve” into anything, not even the whole – meditate about this – what you write is book knowledge – nothing that you really care for – just like nobody cares to be “the observer” or “be free” if you are not CONTENT all this means nothing – What I have given is a definition of consciousness that you cannot read in any book – it is something that you can verify in every moment for yourself. If you see the the state of average human consciousness from this point, you can easily say that consciousness is decreasing, as more and more people are dis-content with more and more. And because so many people are less and less content, they invent myth like the maya-prediction in the hope that something may change for them magically – however what humanity will eventually need is a RESET to be again more content, more conscious

The Human being is also the one who can reflect on his condition and can get confused and lost by his own choice capacity. He is the one that could be the most disconnected from his core consciousness, his sense of existence, his sense of belonging to the Whole.

Due to his complexity, he is the one that can loose pieces of information preventing him to reconnect with his potential of being a fully conscious incarnation of the Consciousness.

Consciousness can be focused or unfocussed, directed toward the infinitely small or immensely vast, can take any shape and direction, can be accessed by the human in all sorts of ways.

Can this consciousness be crystallized in the human being? I think that’s what spiritual teachers and traditions have tried to succeed in.

To a certain level I feel it can be achieved but unless the human being has reached a state total awakening (cleared the unconscious, no need for sleep and dream anymore), then consciousness is going wax and wane.

My BBR has just reached Bangkok yesterday and need to pass the custom. So I’m quite curious to test this “Tool for Consciousness”.

Siri: Sure, I can’t prove it and do not intend to either. It’s something that is living in me and I share it with you because you offer the possibility, with no other agenda than enjoying the challenge to express what is consciousness if I would have been asked to describe it by my Consciousness Teacher or in a World Conference.

Siri: Well for me, it’s when I can dissolve into the Whole that my sense of self and contentment is maximal. The teacher is the link.
I discovered this quite young so my life has been a quest for that, and to a certain degree, a successful one that I’m contented with.
That doesn’t mean I have reached this consciousness permanently and it’s unshakable.
I’m completely in tune with your definition of Consciousness that I find in my opinion very close to the Buddha’s Teaching (Kiran, this is a compliment, not an insult ;).
The difference here is that the Bio Laeser is the technology used to achieve a state of unshakable contentment.
I really look forward to work on my illusions and attachments with it.

Siri: Well if you don’t want to do things you don’t feel and if you want to affirm things that content you, that’s quite healthy and creative to me.
Having said that, on a pure physical level, we will have to dissolve, like it or not, and this (not like my personal subjective life experience) can be verified as you know.
Yes consciousness is decreasing so while we are still in one piece, let be agents of this RESET you mention, with all the tools that work.
      Thanks for sharing.

  2. Hi Everyone,
    What is consciousness?
To me verifying that subjects and objects are created in consciousness is verifying that functions and consciousness are separate and independent phenomena.
Sri Ramana Maharshi use this analogy in response to the question what is consciousness:
“Subjects and objects are creations in Pure Consciousness. You see pictures moving on a scree in a cinema show. When you are intent on the pictures, you are not aware of the screen. But pictures cannot be seen without the screen behind. The world stands for the pictures and Consciousness stands for the screen” (Ramana, 2000).
Consciousness is the underlying phenomenology for DLE.

By verifying that ordinary consciousness contains a subject-object field, it is possible to verify that functions, meaning thinking, feeling, moving, and sensing are separate and different phenomena from consciousness.
Sri Ramana Maharshi has an analogy which I find very useful. As he states:
    subjects and objects are
    Be well,
    Dan

    Kiran’s comment :
    Dear Dan
thank you for taking the time to comment.

All the ideas that we use about reality are concepts, not reality itself, they either help us or most often make our life and possibility of transformation more difficult.
In the Gurdjieff/ Fourth Way tradition and some Indian teachers CONSCIOUSNESS and FUNCTIONS are considered/ conceptualized as totally separate – which in my experience has many non-constructive results. For example the Gurdjieff community is exceptionally cold, because there is the “mis”-conception :

“That if you are conscious for example via “Self-remembering” you do not need to be caring or sacrificing anything – this is for weak and simple-minded monks and social-workers. All that really exists and counts is CONSCIOUSNESS, it is the screen on which everything else depends – nothing else exists.

It is not the question if this is real or false – ideas never are real or non-real – all are non-real but some are more useful for evolution than other.

Another way to conceptualize the situation is to say that all manifestations are compounded of matter, energy, information and consciousness and that there is NO PHENOMENON that is only one of them alone. What changes is the proportion between all 4 components. For example there can be energy with more consciousness or Information like emotions with more consciousness or less. If it is with more – it creates more an experience of unity/ oneness/ contentment.

SO you can never have the “mostly anyway illusory” idea that your “are conscious” in a given moment, but that one manifestation that you are creating in a given moment has more consciousness than another.

    Kiran
